BWW Conference

Usually, I would be at church on Saturday and Sunday. However, for the last 2 days, I was not at church. I leave my church works behind and I attended a conference.

The conference was held at a hall so near to KLCC Petronas Twin Towers. And it is also the place where my family and I together with all my colleagues would meet up on 8th August, 2009 - Convocation Day.

Yes, do take note of the date, 8th August. That's my convocation day. That's truly a ONCE-IN-A-LIFE-TIME day every of my colleagues and I.

I drove to the place with my motorcycle which took me about 15minutes ride. Yes, it is very near to my place. So it is convenient to me. That's made me glad.

So what's BWW Conference all about. BWW stands for Britt World Wide. And basically it's an Amway conference. Again, it's an Amway.

Frankly speaking, I am so new to Amway business. I've only registered for about one month time. By the way, I was introduced to this business through my girl friend's mother. She registered for me, in fact without much acknowledgment`

Honestly, I did come across this so many times. I mean, SOOooOOooOO MANY times. I had friends, so many introduced me this. I truly had no interested at all. And I never register myself. And now I have been registered.

I don't know about this. But no harm to give it a try.

It's a formal conference. So I have to be formal. I have photos above showing my attires for the 2 days. It's a business conference. So wear like a business man! Too bad, my figure is not macho. Pathetic!

Well, the conference has ended. I am now an official business man working for Amway. Business man comes with a business mind and a business structure. What's my business structure? Perhaps I'll tell more on that next time.

Chuch camp

I had my church camp last week. There was this event something like talent show in the camp. Every team is required to come out something. I have 3 brothers, Jordan, Wayne and Tat. They were the organizers for the talent show event.

They had one sorta like opening ceremony for the talent show event. What they did is, they sing 背叛 from Gary together. I truly find that was COOL!

Since it is COOL, hereby, I did a cover for that song.

Boosting Up My Laptop With 1gb of Memory

1gb memory

I have truly become so frustrated with my laptop. It has turned so weak after 4 years. RICHard is not RICH yet so I can't change a new laptop/PC. The only way is to install a memory to it. And, so I bought a 1gb memory, RM 49.

It used to be 512mb of memory. However, I find this truly not enough for today. Memory usage of my laptop is high. I have try so best by using low usage memory software(s) but they actually don't help real much.

I was so excited after I bought the 1gb ram and thinking of that I could have 1.5gb of memory after the installation of the new memory stick.

BUT

thing didn't turn out to be 1.5gb of memory!!!

2 x 256mb of ram

I only realized it has 2 x 256mb of ram installed after I open up the casing. This is so stupid. Meaning that I have to take one 256mb out and install the 1gb in. And I could only have about 1.2gb of memory`

doh` =.= and, what can I do with the extra piece of 256mb now?! Whatsoever... I do find my laptop is powered up. So be glad` =)

Amway

I return KL on the 22nd of June. One more has actually passed. Viewing myself still unemployed, this is quite a terrible case. However there are some friends telling me to be relax as I am only started finding after I returned to KL. Until this time, it's only a month.

They took 3 months only found it. Whatsoever it is, I have to get a job in August. Then again, I have brother(s) or sister(s) from my church telling me.. relax. Be slow and steady.

I don't know about this. Until then, wait and see.

What am I doing everyday unemployed? I actually have things to do. Mostly, church works. By the way, yesterday I went and met up with someone, Francis at Sri Petaling.

He's a business man. And I don't do business. I am an engineer. Let me put this straight.

Amway

Indeed, Amway. I am an officially a member to Amway since last month. Don't look at me with your eyes rolling. I, seriously have no idea why I am actually involving in this. I joined through my girl friend.

To me, it's a opportunity. So it's no harm trying. So far so good. There's no harm to me. So I met this guy, Francis and had a long chit chatting with him. He actually told me his experience in his business. I mean, his own business. And how he actually involved in this.

He gave me a book to read. This is great. Now I have a book to read while waiting for call(s) to interview. He's a successful business man. I can tell he's a RICH man`

Camp: Mission Possible 717

Title tells that I actually attended a camp. Yes, indeed. I joined my church camp last Friday at Dusun Eco Resort. That is why my blog is idle for couple of days. Frankly, I do miss my blog. I afraid my reader(s) runs away. (as if I have super many readers.. LoL`)

I went by bus. I insisted to go by bus although I have this very special offer to go by church van. Which side has more FUN? Bus, of course. I rejected the offer and go by bus.

The air con was never cold. People were going so suffocated inside the bus. Despite of that, it is still so fun!

Lorry

Bus had to stop somewhere before the destination. A lorry carried us to the final destination. First time in my life, I sat behind the lorry and enjoying the strong wind blowing on my face.

It was truly a beautiful place.

Green

I can never see this in Kuala Lumpur. It's GREEN everywhere. The air is.. FRESH. I sensed no haze here. Now I'm in KL. I could sense haze everyday. From far, I could see KLCC is covered by haze.

The organizer used Super Heroes characters as the group name. My group was the Captain Planet group. This is a very strong group under the leading by Andrew.

We got the first runner-up prize. No play play, man. We were actually striving so hard to be the Champion. However, we only managed to obtain first runner-up.

My 2nd Interview

I had my 2nd interview at another company today. This one is located in PJ. Took me again half an hour to drive there. The place itself is truly nice.

The company is a rather big company, I can say. I was interviewed by a PE. PE is one of the titles for engineer which stands for Professional Engineer. The whole interview session was rather tense.

Well, let's just wait and see how things go` again.

My Interview

I had my job interview last week, 10th July 2009. After so many of my applications, finally there's one replied to me. ONE! However, it is better than nothing, still.

This is a small company located in Cheras. Small can be good. Small can be a downside as well` Depending how you view this.

YSK Construction & Electrical

It's a contractor firm and mainly doing electrical works. I am a mechanical background. There's no harm doing it. Mechanical and electrical comes together mostly. Plus when you work, you learn along the way.

It's in Cheras. It's near.. about 30minutes drive.

My "sport car"

Noticing the rain coat I laid on the bike? It was pouring that day. Imagining me driving along MRR2 highway under the pour in the midst of heavy traffic. It may sounds scary.

No no`, I never feel scare. It's common to me. Just that I got so irritating that my socks and my shoes were soaking wet.

It is still under my consideration. Mostly, I am not going to take up this job` because I'll be a rojak engineer if I happen do accept. Rojak aint good.

Rojak as in I have to do everything` as it is a small firm.

A new mouse

I long wanted to buy a mouse to replace my old mouse. THere is this issue with my old mouse: I can't scroll using the roller in the middle. If I happen to scroll using the roller in the middle, the page goes like scrolling up and down around by itself.

I could go so frustrated when I am rushing with my works. Yeah, you may say.. can click at the scroll bar and scroll ma~

I tell you. Sometimes, it's more comfortable to use the roller to scroll. So you don't have to move your mouse pointer so often to the scroll bar and to the text, to the scroll bar and to the text.

And I got myself a new mouse yesterday. It's the cheapest mouse I could find, RM 10. No worry, its quality is not as bad. It's just a mouse, by the way. So long it is able to left click, right click, give me a nice scrolling using the roller and the pointer move smoothly.

I am happy with it. =)

Sunday's School

Seriously, I truly blog less when I returned KL. I could blog daily when I was in Kuching. Plus, I don't read many blogs either. Reason is`..

I don't have time to read/write blog(s). Maybe there's time, just that I don't organized my time well. I~ don't~ know~..

Last week I've been busy. I am still unemployed. Besides church, I have nothing to busy with. Church, church, church.. forever church (No, it doesn't sound like what's in your head)

What was about last week. Title tells all` Every Sunday's School teachers take turn to lead Sunday's School Service. Basically what you need to do are: Organized the whole service. You can do it as creative as possible.

The Proud-To-Be-Skinny-Teacher`

Last Sunday was my turn. Plus, it was also my very first time leading one service. And the message I had to deliver is: Love the Church.

It wasn't easy to figure that title out. There were nights, I could not sleep too well due to too much brainstorming in my brain. I can't sleep if I brain happens to be active. Finally, I came out with an idea which I think it's good!

Whitney helped me to modify it into a better one which I would say it's the BEST!

I managed to bring out the whole message through the huge puzzle block which I made. I spent days to accomplish this. And spent one whole night cutting and arranging it.

Every kid hold one piece of puzzle block. This is to tell them that every single one of you here is truly important to this church. Even though they are so young but this church belongs to them as well. Love this church and build this church together!

They enjoyed playing the huge puzzle.

I happened to end my class earlier than usual time because I was too exhausted on the day. So I spent some time socialize with them more and had some fun in the class after they have done with their arts.

I tell you. He is the most difficult one in my class. He prefers to be in his own world with huge imagination. He can plays with his hands. As if one is bad guy and the other is the good guy. They both hands fight.

I am so rarely visiting gift shop(s). Or, in other word, I never even bother to visit one. I always find those gifts shop(s) not suitable to me. All the blings blings, teddy bears, handphone decors,.. but my girl likes to visit those shops so much.

She likes all those blings blings, teddy bears, cute decors, soft toys.. Whenever entering those shops, I have to prepare my heart because it is expected to hear this:

"I want this. Can buy for me.. "
