Buttefly Park

Photobucket
Align Center
So just after our visitation to KL Bird Park, we headed to Butterfly Park which is just located a stone throw away.

Seriously, I did find the admission fee for Butterfly Park expensive. I cannot recall how much was the admission fee. To me, it was expensive. Some more extra RM 1 charge if you're bringing in camera. I was like wtf. Why an additional of RM 1 if I'm bringing my camera. =.=

Photobucket

We entered the park. Pathetically, the park is small. And it is not so well maintained. Or perhaps the butterfly park is as it looks in different places. I don't know. This is my first time here. I'm not into butterflies.

Photobucket

At the ticket counter. I asked the lady.

Me: "Ada banyak butterflies dalam-kah"

Lady: "Butterflies memang banyak dalam"

I don't know how she defines her "banyak". I was expecting butterflies fly all over the park above my head just like how it was at the bird park. Or perhaps they fly in color group. As in.. one group of red species butterflies flying and another group of blue... decorating the whole park so colorful.

Photobucket

To my dismay, there's no butterfly flying above our heads. We found some on the ground dead. Not too much species can be found there. And some were on the ground "chit-chatting" around.

Photobucket

I have spent my cash purchasing the admission tickets. No matter how I have to "enjoy" myself here to the max so the money I spent is worth while. So grabbed my Fatimah around for some nice shots.

*Fatimah is my camera's name. And it was given by the sisters.

Photobucket

Whitney was helpful enough to "dig" butterflies out for me to shoot at. So Fatimah and I were just simply following her around. It was hot that time. And I sweat in disappointment.

Photobucket

However. I still find there were many people coming into the park. I was wondering whether they are having the same disappointment as me or not. I don't know. Perhaps it was only me. I am fussy in my things.

Photobucket

Whitney continuing to "dig" out the butterflies for me and Fatimah. And my enthusiasm came back. She is more observant. So able to find the butterflies.

It was rather hot. But three of us enjoyed the moment.

Photobucket

Photobucket

As I said earlier, there's not much species inside there. However. Do observe the surrounding, still could find some really beautiful and colorful butterflies around.

Photobucket

So think twice before you come here. The place is boring to hang out. By the way if you like photography, you may find it interesting.

Photobucket

That's all folks. Have a nice day.

Whitney And I Visited KL Bird Park

Last Friday was a public holiday. That was a great thing to me. It is not likely to have public holiday falls on Friday. I've checked the calender. Noticed that most of the public holidays fall on Saturday.

T.T

I cried.

Photobucket

I remembered I set my alarm 7.30am. Know what time did I wake up.

Photobucket

I woke up before 7am. Tried hard to force myself to sleep back. I couldn't and reluctantly I got up the bed.

And T.T

I cried again.

I get so used to wake up around 6am. Ended up, I happened to wake up so "automatically" before the time which I've set. On the other hand, it is a good thing. I can actually have plenty of time to prepare myself.

Photobucket

Because I dated my girl out on that day.

Photobucket

It was a public holiday so don't just stay at home. Or wandering around Setapak. At least "escape" further bit from Setapak. Life gets better. So grabbed this opportunity to...

Photobucket

bring Whitney visiting KL Bird Park. It was our first time there. And I can tell it has more birds comparing to Zoo Negara.

*Eyes rolling...*

Photobucket

Obviously. It is a bird park, anyway. The wonderful thing is that the birds fly around above your head or walking around the path/grass.

And "twit", "twit", "twit".. around. At time I was kinda worry that it may drops its shit on my head.

It did drop its shit. But not on our heads. Dropped on Whitney's sleeve. [forgot to buy number for that]

By the way, not all the birds are outside the cage.

Photobucket

Some are still inside the cage.

If an eagle flies outside the cage, what I'll do is.. steal it away and bring it home. I long want to keep an eagle as pet.

Very handsome if keeps one at home.

Normal entrance fee for adult is RM20. Bring along your I.C. card and Jusco card or Real Reward card. It gives you a discount of RM10.

Photobucket

we saved RM20 which helps to put a smile on our faces. =]

Out of so many birds within the park, peacock was the most common there. I was like..

"Wa, peacoooooock again ar?"

Photobucket

Peacocks are everywhere. Everywhere we go, we met peacock(s). They walked freely around the places.

Photobucket

Some female peacocks saw me approaching, quickly did their lift-up-the-feathers movements to seduce me.

Somehow like telling me..

"handsome.. handsome.. come over here. You find us sexy, don't you?"

*continuing to life-up-the-feathers and showing me the butt. =.=

Photobucket

Peacocks there never scare of humans.

Photobucket

You can even grab a photo with it if you're fortunate enough. Usually, it moves away when we happen to approach near to it.

Photobucket

Birds there eat papaya. And you can see papayas were poked everywhere on the branches. Maybe they eat other fruits. Just that that day, we only saw papayas.

Well, many other birds around. See for yourself one day, provided if you like birds/photography. Otherwise, you'll be complaining.. it's hot there and boring.

Photobucket

Photobucket

There's one interesting place within the park which we happened to like it so very much. Until today, am still missing the place. Wish to go back there again, seriously.

I bet everyone would like it.

It's a huge cage actually.

Photobucket

That place is filled with parrots. And they are

SO

VERY

THE

C U T E !!!

Paying Rm2 for one small cup of.. nut(?).

Photobucket

Photobucket

And the parrots surround you like crazy. Fighting for the nuts(?).

Wow. What an experience. And I had more parrots than Whitney.
