One And A Half Day In Kuala Lumpur - 2

I am having sore throat right now. That is a symptom telling me that I am about to get sick. I do aware of this and keep on drinking water. I shall not fall sick here. This is no Malaysia. I am alone. Bernice and Andy are not around. No one would take care of me if I really fall sick.

Alright. And here goes my Part 2.

The very main reason I sacrificed a leave for Malaysia is to WITNESS Whitney's convocation. Finally this girl has made it despite all the tears shed along the journey.

Photobucket

This meant a lot to me either. I, myself sacrificed much during the whole process. Remembered she failed to obtain a "pass" for her CGPA and led her no option but to proceed to retake/continue the remaining semesters way in the Northern part of Malaysia, Kampar.

I remembered I have to drive to and fro from KL to UTAR, Kampar to settle her registration/appeal with the university.

I remembered I have to drive to and fro twice to move every single of her things from Menara Alpha, KL to Kampar.

I remembered I settled a church for her there. At least she has a "family" in a new place or new environment. (Even though she did not go as often...)

Not to mention. There were three/(more) times over night inside the car at the multi-storey car park.

It was not taking too long for her to get used to the new place.

Photobucket

She found buddies and her life turned even more interesting than my life in Kuala Lumpur. Even more interesting than my nights with the beer.

(I thought beer is interesting enough..)

Photobucket

Not to forget those who supported her. Gave her morally support. Prayers. Laughters. Phone calls like it's free from DIGI. Every time got new shirts when she backed to Kuala Lumpur.

I don't have to name them all out. You know who you are. I am only giving privilege to that two ladies above.

So. I believe.

Every second sacrificed.
Every drop of fuel I paid.
Every mentality/energy I drained due to long driving.
Every DIGI-as-if-it's-free calls from whoever.
Every shirts given out.
Every tear shed.
Every prayers made.
Every hardship/effort put.
Every second of endurance.
Every drop of sweat.
Every.. every.. every.. there is too much every..

EVERYTHING is paid off. on.. this very glorious day.

Photobucket

I witnessed and I felt glad. I don't boast how cool am I or to boast how supportive her friends are or to boast how good is her. I boast how GREAT my Lord is for her big day.

He is the only ONE deserves all the GLORY on Whitney's most glorious moment!

One And A Half Day In Kuala Lumpur - 1

"One And A Half Day In Kuala Lumpur - 1"

1 as in Part 1. First thought of doing everything just in one post. Unfortunately, I don't have the time. I have not even fully transferred all the photos from my new camera to my PC.

(Correct, I just bought a new camera.)

I went back to K.L. last Friday late night. Pleasant enough to see Carolyn, Elaine tagged along with Chris to fetch me at the new TBS Bus Terminal.

I bet they had a really hard time finding the entrance to the place. =D

Photobucket

The new TBS Bus Terminal is really astonishing.

So thankful that Andy offered me a place to overnight. A nostalgic place as I rented there for a year.

Photobucket

Well, there go my Part 1.

A Farewell For Minh

Having working in my present company for a few months. Despite the ridiculously long working hour and far traveling distance, I have real cool colleagues.

They are mixed. Mixed as in they are all from various countries. This is how unique Singapore is. People from various countries came here.

Photobucket

From left to right: Kyaw (Myammar), Samuel (Singapore), Minh (Vietnam) and Dave (China).

Last night we had a light farewell for Minh.

Photobucket

Minh has resigned and this coming week could be his final week with us. This is also his final final week in Singapore. He is leaving for good back to Vietnam.

I tell you. Home country is still the BEST place in the end.

Photobucket

We had our light farewell at ... (I've forgotten the restaurant name). It's Japanese BBQ/steamboat styled buffet at Marina Square.

I am wondering...

When is my farewell.

We Have Shifted

Photobucket

Finally we have shifted. Yes, the final finally. Since September last year, if am not mistaken the company was suppose to shift. Only until March this year and it shifted.

Am glad that I am involving in this shifting. It is rather an excitement to shift from an old place to a really new place.

Photobucket

I've mentioned this in my previous post. The location of this company is the biggest downside. Just to imagine the time and the amount of expenditure to spend for MRT and bus...

Huge sigh.

Photobucket

Initially, the duration from my house to the company was one hour and the fare was $1.73.
Now, the duration is one hour and thirty minutes and fare increases to about +/- $2.30.

I understand that they are just a tiny increment. Please don't look down on it. This tiny tiny increment could eventually bring some impacts indirectly. You'll never know.

Photobucket

It is my contentment to have my new working place. It gives me power to work even hardworking. The only thing I damn sien is that I am just right in front of my boss' office. Let it be. It doesn't matter because...

No one can tells how long am going to sit there.

*smirk*

We Are Shifting

Photobucket

Everyone is requested to stay to do the packing. And finally it has done, majority. Tomorrow is the day. The whole company is going to shift to another new place. A new beginning.

I've been to the new office. It is truly a great place to work at. Nice ambient inside with minor of design for the interior.

Boss designed himself for the M&E part. This office is going to go for Green Mark label. That's pretty cool.

Photobucket

The con is that the location of the new office is going to be really far from my home. Further distance means more expenditure for the transportation.

This is difficult.

I am having this very thought in my mind. (I shall keep that to myself at the moment)..

Tomorrow 7:30am has to be at the office to do the loading onto the lorry. That's ridiculously EARLY!

Everyday I wake up at six and the earliest I can arrive office is 8am. I don't know if I can make it that early.

Draining out...
