Facial Cleansing Foam: Tolsom

Recently I look at myself inside the mirror. No joke, man! There are pimples growing here and there. Why at this age there are still pimples growing. I am getting no clue. Why grow pimples instead of my weight?!

I remembered my face used to be so silky smooth like a new born baby's face. There was once a fly tried to stop on my face. It slipped. It.. SLIPPED.

What about now?

I play my finger over my face. My finger scratched. It.. SCRATCHED.

No choice. I purposely went and buy that facial wash, Tolsom. Rarely I use facial wash. You know, guy.. they can anyhow use body shampoo during shower time one go they cleanse from the face to the toe. Done, that's it.
I don't use facial foam.

Judging from the condition of my face, I better start wash my face in a proper way, using facial foam. Perhaps, get a toner or moisturizer too some time later.

Ain't it troublesome? I used to wash my face. Then I apply toner and moisturizer. But after some time I find it truly troublesome. And I just gave up.

Hoping my face has some improvement after this.

The Lion King Musical Event

The Lion King marked the second musical event/show I've watched in the theater. The first one was in Klang Valley. That one I went all alone.

I like being alone and get isolated from others. Ironically, my job requires me to meet many people. That is truly difficult to me.

The first one was great. The second one was even greater.

I bought two tickets online, $88.00 each which, to me that's very expensive for two. Since everyone is giving good review about the show. No harm giving it a try. Plus, I've promised to bring Whitney for it.

I, myself like orchestral, choir or musical event such as that either. Knowing that, all those ain't cheap.

Sand Theater located in Marina Bay Sands. To come here is not very convenient YET. One can choose either to alight at Marina Station or Promenade Station. And one still need to walk quite a distance from Marina Station. Or transit bus at Promenade Station.

New MRT station is under construction there. Soon it is going to make life easier.

That is how the outside of Sand Theater looks like. Again, it is a shopping mall. I am totally not interested with shopping malls. It is making me stressful and tired by just looking at the crowded shopping.

That's how the interior of the Sand Theater looks like. It wasn't as huge as I thought but the stage was good. It can lifts up, down, tilt a bit up, .. (I can't explain in detail)

Photography is not allowed. So I can't show you all how magnificent, colorful, vibrant, great the whole musical show was. I giving it a rating, 10stars out of 5stars. (5starts bonus for it)

I linked one photo from elsewhere here to give you all a picture how it looks like.

That one showed Simba was dedicated at the Pride Lands with his Daddy, Mufasa and Mummy. And all the animals surrounding the Pride Lands and cheers for the baby Simba!

The whole cartoon is presented real life. And it's very real, indeed.

More photos around in Google search. *enjoy*

Fort Canning Park

Life's tiresome here. And there was one day we happen to be really boring. We went to bookstore purposely to grab a book at the "Travel" section to read about Singapore.

Only we realized how pathetic here is.

However there is this place mentioned inside the book which we have not been to yet, the Fort Canning Park. Don't get amaze with its name. It is just a park, basically.

This park or.. the small hill has a long history behind. Can easily tell from the word "fort". This place served as a military base super long time ago. There's one underground passage. We did not manage to visit that one. xD

Holding the canon. I feel to shoot some buildings down.  That building in Orchard there would be the first down to down!
*YaWn* Enough history. You can read more at in the internet.

Fort Canning Park today is rather a happening place. Heard that usually there are recreation activities having there. The day we went some more there's Audi cars show.

It is one of the important green lung in the Singapore city.

I saw people just brought their food n' having picnic there. (Usually are those Bangla...). So doing picnic there is not my thing. I don't want other people to view me as one of them. *oOops...*

Dropping by for a short walk or jogging, still acceptable to me.

Or to play camouflage like her.
(She is always everywhere in my every photo..)

How to get to the park is quite tedious. It seems rather isolated in the city. To us, Clarke Quay MRT seems to be the nearest. But the travel-book told us City Hall MRT. We walked so far from City Hall MRT only arrived.

Again, that's only a park to me. *boredom*

Who can tell me how old is that tree?

Japanese Steamboat At Yuki Yaki

Right after our church service, we decided to go for a Japanese steamboat to eat until our stomach content. We rarely having good meal here.
One thing, obviously is due to limited cash. No harm to have it once in a while.

Mentioning church, .. Yes, the photo above shows church which I'm attending here (The building behind Whitney). Perhaps tell you all more about the church next time.

We came to Yuki Yaki at the Marina Square. And we were to put inside the waiting list. The place was full house.

Full house always tells us that the food surely to be great there. And so we waited. Actually we happened to give up waiting. Anyway, that's another story.

I didn't take any photo during the meal. It's kinda annoying me to take photos and at the same time eating. However.. Overall, I rate this place 2 starts out of 5. It didn't really satisfy both Whitney and I.

Main thing is due to.. less variety of food and Sushi. Price wise, $22.90+ per pax.

(that's not cheap, to me)

Newton Hawker Centre

Just another Saturday to me. As usual, every Saturday, I'll go and find Whitney in the noon for a lunch before the church service.

(My church service here starts 5.30pm, Saturday)

It is always a headache to ask these 2 questions:
a) Where to eat?, and
b) What to eat?

Photobucket

Whitney and I would be exploring around for more food. Occasionally it involves argument. It is always a headache, I told you.

I've heard there's one tourist trail in Newton, Newton Hawker Centre. Actually I came there once and since Whitney has never come to the place. So I could just bring her there for a lunch.

Photobucket

It is just 5 minutes walk away from Newton MRT station. To me, nothing really big deal with it. It looks just like any ordinary hawker stall. Yet the food selling here is more expensive than any other hawker stalls around. Just because this is one of the tourist favorite spot.

(No idea what's so cool with Newton)

Nothing much to eat if you're coming in the day time. 70% of the shops are close. Do come at night. It's more happening at night. So anyhow we just ordered 2 bowls hand-made-noodles (手工面), $4.00 each.

*scary...*

You can get $3.50 elsewhere.

I'd just rate Newton Hawker Centre 2 stars only. *yAwn...*

By the way, there were many cats on our way back to Newton MRT station. Someone must have put the food there intentionally to feed those meow meow cats.

xD
