My Freakiest 2010

January 2010 has just over. How are everyone's resolutions. I am glad enough my first resolution is achieving 8.33%. While my second resolution, it's still remaining 0%. However, I am working it out. Announcing it when it has reached the result of that at least 35%, to my standard.

The title tells "My Freakiest 2010". So far I can tell that my freakiest experience in 2010 was..

Photobucket

the Thaipusam festival which so massively held at Batu Cave. That was my first time. I remembered when I was young, I learnt that Indians celebrate Thaipusam. What is Thaipusam anyway not until I saw it myself last Saturday.

Photobucket

The Batu Cave was jam packed with believers, tourists and photographers. Surprisingly, not only Indians celebrate Thaipusam. Very minority of Chinese celebrates it too. Perhaps some photos to tell what believers do during Thaipusam..

Photobucket

1.) They shave their hair to bald, both children and adults. The photo shows how the hair is actually been shaved. A very classical way of shaving.

Photobucket

2.) Some poked their skins with huge, sharp hooks. That was truly freak me out. I could feel the pain inside my skin. Alright, that's not the freakiest part yet.

Photobucket

The freakiest part is.. there's one person pulling the strings attached to the hooks behind. When the person with the hooks on tries to walk, the person at the back.. pull`...

Photobucket

3.) That is the second type of way. It's still dealing with the huge, sharp hooks but this time without anyone pulling behind. The hooks just hang on the skins. I wonder what is containing inside the small pots. Fresh milk?

Photobucket

4.) The 2 and 3 are small. The one above shows the bigger one. That's not the biggest one yet. There are even bigger one. Still, there are lots of hooks poked into the skins.

Photobucket

5.) Every believers is carrying pots which come in different kind of size. Some are big and some are small.

I guess that's all about the photos. I still have plenty of them but I don't bother to upload all of them. Know what.. Know why..

Photobucket

People are taking photos. I, too was taking photos. But my photos are truly bad. I happened to view so many photos taken inside some forums. How could they actually take such a good photos.

Ish`..
