The Birthday

It has been a truly bad week to me. I worked just like a bull until 10pm ~ 11pm for 3 days. If my place happen to be near to my work place, that's fine. It's not, in fact. So that was exhausting.

Life is difficult when one is away from his/her family. It applies the same to me. Imagine one has to organize everything by him/herself.

But things may seem to be better when one has a "family" around. As in, you have good friends around to cheer with. Experience through the joy, laughter, tears and love together. No matter how hardship a situation is, it is always bright.

Last Tuesday the cell threw a surprise to Eugine Ngu. Or a nightmare (?) as she woke up clueless.

It was 11.30pm and I can tell that my mind is floating around clueless either. We entered her house quietly. That's common when you're going to throw a surprise. =D

And the story goes on and on and on.. as usual. The birthday song, the birthday cake, the candles, the fellowship, the cake eating session, the laughter, the sharing..

But there's one thing I must highlight which it is different from ordinary birthday celebration.

We give blessing. That is what the truly meaning of birthday, by the way. Since the day we were borne, the blessing counts. Birthday can be fun and wild but it's all in vain without blessing, especially from the one we love. It means everything.

Cash can gives you joy. But family gives you an ultimate joy. Happy birthday to Eunice.
