The Kids

Recalling back the day when I came Sunday's School just as a guitarist. You know. Being a good Samaritan. Trying to help up. Ended up. I became a t e a c h e r.

It was not a good thing to me at the first place. This is not something me. You know. Me. Me is me. And that is not me. However. I endured it. Time flies. I am involving in this ministry for a year plus. That's amazing? Any suitable word to describe? I can't think of any. Bad vocabulary. I have-no-eye-to-see.

Tell you what. Being a Sunday's School teacher is not an easy task. Firstly. You got to examine yourself. If you view yourself a rubbish. The kids who you're teaching shaped into a rubbish just alike you. We are saying to nurture only good thing to the next generation. Next generation of soldiers of Christ, to be exact.

What did I learn for over the year? For sure a lot.

Kids are innocent. They may seem to be.. You know. The don't-understand-a-thing-kinda of attitude. You talk to them. They act the other way round for you. Like playing with toes.

However, trust me this. They are LISTENING into their hearts. They learn every second. The "hard disk" is "installing" everything.

Over the year. Met some great people in my life. Ya, no joke. Great people, they are.

I understand that kids are truly cute. No matter what they are doing. Crawl, jump, cry, eat, lay, fight, shout, sing.. every single action from them is adorable.

As I said. It's not an easy task at the first place. Sometimes even pastor is cracking her head and goes frustrating around. Fortunately. All I can say is. Thank you, Lord for the pastor.

Am never a good one here. Being rebellious around all the time. Too bad. It is just me. So. Intro you a student of mine.

He's 5 years old. Imagine a guy like me teaching a 5 years old kid. Still in the progress of learning. Seriously. I can't imagine myself acting or talking in this really cute manner. Gross me up.

But trust me. Kids appreciate you being their teacher. They remember. Some may forget due to they are really young. They remember. They appreciate.

I was leading a team during Easter Sunday in a game session. I was standing in front leading and there was this kid. He used to be my student. Say proudly to other fellows. "Wa. This is my teacher!"

Told you. They appreciate.

I can only whisper within myself. "Hey kid. Grow up. And be a MAN one day". For you are the real generation of Muk En Church. Teacher may leaves one day because am from Sarawak. And the kids here are the one who is going to inherit the fire!

As we grow older. We tend to get smarter. We tend to do things our own ways. No wonder we were all been told. To have a heart like a kid. Why a kid. Simply. Because it is just innocent.

Sigh. Sometimes I, too get really frustrate when they are being way too naughty. What to do. They are kids. I remember when I was. I was naughty too. Now I can understand or get a taste of it. When kids go naughty. I go nut.

But they are way too cute. And you just have to hold your temper and ... let it be. And he will just..

smile at you as if.. "hey, I won. You lose".

LoL` that's about it for my random. Be good to kids all the time. =D
