Crane Dance

Last Saturday right after Easter service, Whitney brought me to watch crane dance at the zoo Resort World, Sentosa.

That's not my photo. I got that from Google search.
Em. It was not really something like that. That's real crane dance. Ours was mechanical crane dance like this.

Mind not the wording "Angry Bird" there. I could not control myself. Every real bird or artificial bird to me now is "Angry Bird".

Allow my to bla.. a bit of the cranes' background.

The two mechanical cranes is the creation of Emmy-award winning designer Jeremy Railton and, with each crane standing 10 storeys tall and weighing 80 tonnes, The Crane Dance is now the largest dancing animatronics performance in the world.

It felt great to catch such a "dance show". It's the LARGEST so far. The best part is... it's FREE.

And again please do not mind with my wording, "Angry-Machine Bird". I added "machine" this time. Just to make it sounds slightly appropriate. xD

It's FREE. Obviously it'd be so very crowded. Whitney planned well and so we manage to get there 30mins just before the show started and got ourselves the BEST view. Otherwise, I'd never capture all these not-so-bad-photos for you all, my readers.

It was difficult to shoot with my crappy DSLR. I have no other option but to pump up my ISO to 3200. Eww.

The 10-minute mechanical cranes dance show is really worth watching. I was truly amazed how engineers/designers could have actually thought of to come out something like that.

Do catch the cranes before they fly away, every evening at the WaterFront.

Time: 9:00 pm
Duration: 10 minutes
Location: WaterFront
Fee: Free Admission

Until then,.. xD
