Barney The Friendly Dinosaur

There were so many kids at Marina Square which caught Whitney's attention. By the way, that was few weeks back.

We saw the word "Barney" written on the stage and knowing that Barney is going to appear in front of us. In case you have no idea what Barney is, Barney is a purple dinosaur and it can sing, dance and tell story with children and... with some adults too in the TV. 

One of my favorites apart from Baja Hitam (Ignore Baja Hitam if you have no idea what that is).

Kids were excited and so is Whitney. She insisted to stay and wait to see Barney. So we sat beside that kid above by the guard rail and wait.

Truly I felt myself si-beh-old when I was surrounded by kids left and right.

 

The moment the Barney "grew huge" (as in it appeared on stage) all the kids went..

"BarrRRnnEeyyy!!! YyyYyEeeaHHh!!!"

If you watched Barney. It is actually a small dinosaur soft toy. Magically it grows huge and starts singing songs and dancing with the kids.

Baby Bop came out next. And all the kids went..

"YyyYyyEeeAAAahHHh!!!"

They could scream as if young girls today see Jay Chou on the stage.

And when B.J. came out. The kids.. flew to the sky.

The three dinosaurs came to the real life. They started dancing and singing just the way they do inside the TV. Their voices were exactly the same as you heard in the TV. They are authentic Barney, Baby Bop and B.J.

I watched Barney when I was young for years. Barney the friendly dinosaur taught me a lot of things. Serious. One very thing which I can still remember today is...

Close the tap water when you're brushing your teeth.

And guess what. I am still practicing that TODAY. My parents did not teach me that. My school teachers did not teach me that. Baja Hitam did not teach me that. My friends did not teach me that. Power Rangers did not teach me that. Popeye did not teach me that. I never learn that myself either. It was Barney who taught me that. Now you can tell how influential Barney is to me!

Sadly, I can only remember that one.

Barney sings a song. That song is a must every time before ending of the show. Whoever watched Barney DEFINITELY knows this song. (Enjoy..)
