Korea (17) - "Winter Sonata"
Finally something more friendly to my eyes.
You can see it's kinda high rise in the river. It was due to the continuous rain for days and weeks. Well, the rain has stopped. And the sky is clear once again. That put a smile on our faces.
Group of 7 inside a van. The journey took about 2 hours. And our next stop is an island again, Island "Nan Yi". That's where Winter Sonata movie and other movies shooting place.
Before that. We in need to fill up our stomach.
We were brought to this really cozy and nice restaurant for lunch. Oh my GoSh! the food there is superb! Especially the kim-chii! I'm crazing for kim-chii now... Korea, how I miss you.
The only mean of transportation for get to the Nan Yi Dao is through ferry. You need to purchase ticket for that. Since it is included in our tour package therefore I did not bother to know the price.
About 10 minutes ride and we arrived at the infamous "Winter Sonata"! I truly suggest you'al to come here during season like spring/autumn or winter. I'm from tropical country. And the plants during summer time here ain't much different that those back in my country.
Spring, autumn or winter would give you different perspective and scenery view. I bet it would be damn good.
Few photos below for your viewing pleasure...
Seriously I'd like to visit back this place again. Perhaps during winter season where everything is snow white here. There always a chance. The matter is WHEN. It is not likely I'm going to return here in this 10 years time.
It is truly a contented trip in Nan Yi Dao. Time to board the ferry again and say bye bye to "winter sonata". So sadly that people only remember Winter Sonata. huhu~..
.. Our national flag on the ferry!.. @.@ an awkward feeling. Never mind then. Proud to be Malaysian! (有点心虚)
That's all about our journey in Nan Yi Dao.
Leave the PTB...s pose there as a memory! xD
