Yi Lun's New Born Baby

Photobucket

Don't you find the weather is really hot recently! Some more I am working at construction job site and the hot weather is killing me. How I wish there's an air-conditioned system inside my room.

Alright. Back to the main thing.

My cell group leader, Yi Lun gave birth to a baby 3 days ago, Saturday (15.10.2011) and she stayed in Mt. Alvernia Hospital. So this is the practice: cell group decided to pay a visit to her. (common thingy....)

Photobucket

We so happened to come at the wrong timing because Yi Lun started to breast feeding the baby. Therefore, we were not allow to enter the room. Never mind. I can wait. I had one whole Sunday.

Photobucket

That was surely a long breast fed session, 45 mins!

Photobucket

I saw a nurse feeding a baby while we were waiting. Why wasn't that baby drink milk from breasts? hMm.. Anyway, breast feed is good. Next time my babies all shall go for breast feed. I can save money. @.@

Apparently the waiting was worthwhile when we got the see the baby in the end.

I forgot to ask for his/her name. Yes, I don't even know the gender. From the photo, I can tell is a she. A baby girl. I'll go and clarify that later. xD

And he/she is placed inside the baby room (?).

Foo-Chow Tast (?) 福州风味 (?)

Yesterday (16.10.2011) I was brought to this cafe shop which was told that it serves Foo-Chow cuisine. I am a Foo-Chow, an authentic one I can tell. My grandparents are Foo-Chow. My grandpa from China. My parents are Foo-Chow n' Hokkien mixed. I speak Foo-Chow. My mother cooks damn good Foo-Chow dishes.

Photobucket

So I was rather anticipating to try the Foo-Chow food. That was after church service. And before that Lee Fuan told me that she's going to bring me to taste Foo-Chow fish ball after the church service. I was like... Foo-Chow fish ball?! Did my grandparents or my parents missed out something. Why Foo-Chow fish ball?! I gave LeeFuan a weird look.

Photobucket

I came to the shop. It was a rather old shop. And the interior pretty looks like those cafe shops back in Sibu, Sarawak.

Photobucket

I told Lee Fuan. I have never heard before Foo-Chow fish ball. Foo-Chow well known dish would be Foo-Chow 红酒面线 or .. Foo-Chow noodles. I was RIGHT. That shop serves Foo-Chow 红酒面线 and Foo-Chow noodles. AND, Foo-Chow fish ball which to me I am still finding it awkward.

Anyway, I ordered Foo-Chow noodles.

Photobucket

And. Please clarify me. That is Wantan-Mee in KL or in any other states in West Malaysia or Foo-Chow noodles?

Like Father, Like Son (?)

Photobucket

Happened to see this photo inside my hard disk last night. Recalling how stupidity it was that night at the water front where Merlion located. Everybody was looking at him in laughter. Yet he paid no attention to the others.

Hilarious yet so cool!

Whitney's Birthday Dinner

Photobucket

Her birthday sure is happening, i guess. Anyway on the 13th cell group had a small celebration with her. Reallllly small celebration with 4 cell group members came. At first I could have thought it is going to be like in KL where we 'tapao' one whole row of table. It was still warm with small number of people, I could tell.

Photobucket

She requested me to bring my camera along that night. At least to capture some moments with the cell group in Singapore. Apparently, we ain't that involving neither in the church nor the cell group here. Well, it is good to have one or two photos to keep as memory. xD

Who can tells how long are we going to be here?

Photobucket

Bennie text me while I was on my way to AMK. Her question was what's Whitney's shoe size? Apparently, cell group is going to buy her a Mphosis slipper. I was relatively stunt inside the train.

What's her shoe size. That was difficult to recall. Roughly I remembered it is around 7 or 8. I told her 8.

Photobucket

8 fits well. Now she has a new pair of slippers. Unmerited blessing!

I Had One Craziest Saturday

Photobucket

It was Saturday again. For half of the day I was at office. Thought of to finish some more work but I wasn't in the mood. Ain't much productive and so I left with necessary documents and stuffs for Monday's business trip in Vietnam (again).

*bummer*

Photobucket

Went for church service as usual every Saturday evening. Every time after church service, cell group go for dinner together. Last week was at Olive Vine. And KFC for yesterday.

Photobucket

Usually foud of us would be sitting together. Simply because we are Malaysian. No, I am not racism here. I can mix with others too. Just that it is more comfortable mixing with them. I'm happier.

Photobucket

The night was still young when we finished our KFC. It has been a while since last time four of us hang out together. So we went for a walk at this sorta like roof garden at the Suntec City.

Photobucket

We were chit chatting and fool around around to pass our time.

Photobucket

Lee Fuan wanted to take a good portrait of herself.

Photobucket

Soon after I felt boring..

Photobucket

It was 10:30pm and we suggested to have supper before we catch for the last MRT train.

Photobucket

Sadly, we spent too much time eating and by the time we realized this it was already 11.45pm. Which mean, there's no more MRT train. What shall we do then? We could not go home.

We went for a late night movie without bothering much how are we going to go home later. ZOMG. That was my FIRST time here. And Real Steel wasn't as bad as I thought. It inspired me to learn boxing! *ROAR*

It was 3.30am by the time movie finished. And Whitney n' LeeFuan went home taking taxi while JunHwa and I went home by bus.

YeAh! That was crazy...

Dinner At Empire Estate

Photobucket

That was Sunday. We had one long afternoon of Amway seminar. All thanks to McDonald and I slept half way through the seminar.

Congratz to myself that I went on stage for recognition. Manage to hit the target of 12%. What an unmerited favor. Eventually I paid my car loan this month using the 12% gained.

Unmerited favor, huh.

Photobucket

Had our dinner at Empire State after that.

Photobucket
Photobucket

I had this feeling that this month am going to broke due to so much expensive food weekly!

We ate until our heart contented and still so much left over. I felt rather guilty. We have wasted FOOD. zomg! Lesson learnt. Shall never ever order so much again!
